The Speed Racer movie will be hitting theaters shortly on May 9th, 2008. On the Speed Racer Candy Tracks website you can check out trailers of the movie and find out how you can win prizes with their sweepstakes.
They have a fun selection of games to play on the website, choose from Push Pop Plunge, Ring Pop Rally, Baby Bottle Pop Derby, Juicy Drop Falls, or Bazooka Bubble Juice Bonanza.

I loved the cartoon. The trailer just doesn't seem to pull in that nostalgic feel. But my kids will love it.
No lunchboxs for them tho.
I like this car although it's hard to imagine Princess Haiku in it! :) You just never know what kind of drive a blogger dreams off. Take care Christy.

This movie looks really sureal and trippy. But seeing as i grew up watching speed racer i think i will check it out!
I have never even heard of this.... maybe I am too young (born in '81!)
I'm looking forward to this movie. I loved Speed Racer as a kid. From the looks of the trailers, it seems like they've captured some of the characteristics of the classic TV series. I hope it stands up to the scrutiny of fans.

I think it looks like it will be a great family movie. I never saw the cartoon but I've heard of it. I'm going to see it theaters, it seems pretty cool. :) And I want that car too!!
